Fiona and Caoimhe met in school in the 1980s — two girls who couldn't stop making things together. In 1994, they opened a small studio off Camden Street in Dublin and started shaping clothes the slow way: linen sourced by hand, knitwear finished one stitch at a time, every seam checked twice.

For thirty years, they've made pieces for the women they knew — the kind of clothes you reach for again and again, that age beautifully with you, that mean something.

Now, after thirty years at the bench, they're ready to step away. There's no one to carry on the studio the way they built it — and rather than hand it over to be run differently, they've chosen to close it themselves, on their own terms, while it still means what it always did.
